After a frustrating afternoon with my health insurance company – 4 1/2 hours on and off hold – and endless arguing with customer care ghoulies about a mistake they made, I knew a work out was more important than ever, so I hopped on my bike tonight for a good 60-minute work out.  I figured out just how much I had really let these folks get to me while riding my bike.  I was 45-minutes into my ride before I finally started to relax and enjoy the work out.  Bottom line:   frustrating day or not, I did make time for my work out, and felt better after I finished it.  That’s what New Year Resolutions and goals should do:  make you feel good when you’re working on them and achieving your dreams.  I always try to keep in mind it’s the journey not the destination!!
